In 2007 God burdened the heart of a business man in Myrtle Beach to pray for a church for each of the planned communities being started up and down the Grand Strand. He saw them as villages or small towns without a church. Nine years later a couple nearing retirement age was invited by this praying man to move to Market Common at Myrtle Beach to help start a church. After exploring the community and meeting with developers God began to birth a passion for using small churches that could meet in homes, businesses or public places (now called microchurches) being intentional to form in depth community that makes disciples.
